May 6th Town Hall on COVID-19

“Protecting the Health of Upstate New Yorkers in the age of COVID-19″

Working Families Democratic Assembly candidate Joe Seeman participated, along with Dr. George Jolly of the Saratoga Health Committee and Physicians for a National Health Program, and Lisa Blodgett from the NY State Nurses Association. Republican incumbent Mary Beth Walsh was also invited to have been an equal participant, but did not respond to our inquiries. Read more in this Times Union article about the town hall.

Discussions included how to know it’s safe to reopen New York State, what healthcare workers currently need, and steps we as a society can take to better prepare for the future, where scientists warn, we may see more of this.
